End-grain fine plane. Very beautifully cast iron box with 5 mm wall thickness. Edge all around and embossed brand on the front. Mouth 2 mm, 45 mm wide. Behind that, between the high-curved side walls, a beautiful wedge support 16x46x8 mm with double cornice arches held in place by 2 screws at the front and back. Behind that, a cross brace 5x46x18 mm, which is reinforced from the back with a high-curved longitudinal rib, serves as an iron stop. Cast No. 1364. In the curved rear edge is an 8 mm screw head. Next to it is an "M" stamped. Wooden wedge 13x4.5 cm, with a beautiful double cornice bevel at the bottom, and a 3.7 cm high half-sphere as a handle at the top.
Would may be mahogany.
