Small fine plane similar to BAILEY No.1. Front knob handle made of wood, 3.7 cm high, Ø 3.2/1.6 cm. Rear handle made of wood, 6.7 cm high, 1.9 cm wide, 2.8-5.6 cm long. Both fastened with long screws and bronze cylinder heads. Body cast as a U-shaped box with 3 mm wall thickness. Side walls with a bevel in the middle. Front cast cam 10 mm high, Ø 10 mm with 4 mm thread for the 36 mm long knob screw. Crossbar 29 mm long, 9 mm wide, on both side walls. Mouth 39 mm, front 4x33 mm, 16 mm behind the mouth, the base plate is flattened with precisely machined support strips and two 4 mm screws with bronze cylinder head screws Ø 9 mm, 11 mm high.
On the base plate (similar to BAILEY old in STANLEY Book, Page 34), the frog is attached with two 10 mm long 4 mm screws on support discs, slightly adjustable. It is angled at 45°, 79 mm long, 31 mm wide, with a forward section of 11 mm in length. Behind this, 7 mm higher, is the 31 mm wide support surface, divided into three 20-23 mm long, 4-5 mm wide machined strips. The iron stop angle is 45°, with a round cutout 7.5 mm wide, 24 mm from the center, and two slots 16 mm long, 5.5 mm wide for mounting screws. Between the cutouts is a 5 mm thread for the cap screw. Above this, the cutout is 15x15 mm for the iron cap screw and the 15x9 mm slot for the depth adjuster cam on the lever cap, guided into the 16 mm long bronze nut Ø 21 mm. This nut runs on a 25 mm long 7 mm screw with left-hand thread. Turning clockwise lowers the iron. The irons are held with the cap 70x31/14x0.7 mm and clamped with the lever cap onto a spring. There is no lateral adjustment for the iron (Lateral Adjust).
Iron: 32 mm, not original, angle: 45°
Cap: 30 mm, with short screw and slot at the top.
