Carved from solid wood. Front rounded arch, chamfered (⌀ 16.5 cm), transitioning into two spirals over a 9 cm span.
Within it, a 5-lobed shell with two-part base is carved over a cross beam (4×3.7 cm).

For the vertical slot of the iron (4×0.8 cm), a 0.7 cm high frame (5×2.5 cm) is carved into the cross beam with rounded sides.

The underside is flat, with a 1.2 cm deep recess (7.3×11.5 cm).
The wooden wedge is elaborately carved like a coat of arms.

Router planes with closed shavings slots on top are quite rare.

Condition: Conserved.
Very old, museum-worthy.
