Fine plane. Solid steel construction. Front has a 3 cm wide walnut inlay, 13.3 cm long behind an iron support. Rear has a walnut wedge under a slanted 4 mm iron.

The iron bed at the back consists of the iron support plus an 11.6 cm wooden infill, secured by a long wedge fastened with a screw from behind. Top, rear, and front edges slightly projecting and triply rounded. Iron and wood precisely fitted and rounded on the sides.

Bevel on top ≈ 30°, bed angle ≈ 20° → total cutting angle ~ 50°
