Fine shoulder plane, assembled from two identical 3 mm thick, elaborately carved iron walls, each 24 mm wide and connected by a two-piece 8 mm sole. A wooden infill with an open shaving slot is fitted at the front.

The front wooden block is 2.4 cm thick, with a recess of 11.5×7.5 cm, into which an equally thick rear block is inserted. Above that is the iron bed.

On the rear iron bed: a metal bracket (24×10×4 mm) is screwed on the side with a 5 mm screw. A ridged bronze nut (Ø 14 mm) and a 6 mm threaded rod guide the iron in place. The iron is adjusted via a small lateral slit on the side fences. The plane is 23 cm long overall. A 6×8 mm square rod is used for lateral clamping, with a wooden wedge behind the iron.

At the bottom, a 5 mm thick angled support holds the plane’s lower portion together. Both wooden blocks and the wedge are precisely fitted, so the plane can be used from either side for trimming shoulders.

Iron: 30 mm wide
Bevel on top: 26°
