Fine plane similar to the Stanley Bailey No. 5. The front knob is wooden, 6.4 cm high. The sole and side walls are 4 mm thick, with additional reinforcements. The frog (adjustable) has a fine adjustment screw whose bronze nut is 32 mm in diameter. The lateral adjustment lever is 85 mm long and engages the chipbreaker.
This double iron is secured by the chipbreaker, which has an 11×22 mm slot and the older style (alt) eccentric lever. The rear handle is wooden with a long and a short screw, showing some color variation in the finish.
