Fine plane with a solid cast bronze body, polished on the outside. Wall thickness: 6 mm. Sole: 8 mm. Front: 14 mm high with a 5×4.5×4.8×3.6 cm wooden insert, and a 1.5 cm wide mouth (6×47 mm) in the bronze. The wedge abutment is secured by a bronze screw.

The wedge is backed by a bronze bar (228×9×1 mm). Under that is a 4×2.6×0.8 cm wooden block, and below that, a 10 mm thick crossbeam. The rear handle is 16 mm thick, shaped into a 10×8 cm box-like block. It’s contoured for hand comfort. There’s a 7 mm threaded rod inside, with a 16 mm head, securing the handle. The wooden rear grip is 17–18 cm long and 3–4 cm wide, carefully fitted into the bronze body.

Iron: 43 mm wide, bevel at about 13° skew, with a 1.3 mm slot.
