Molding Plane with Hollow/Cove Profile (m.A.)

This right-handed plane has top edges that are rounded and features incised line decoration along with a wooden wedge.

At the top right, there is a small piece of wood (about 20.3 × 0.5 × 2.6 cm) with a groove that has a double rounding, glued on. Below that, about 3 cm is slightly beveled.

It has a chip ejection opening and a depth stop measuring approximately 0.3 cm wide by 0.6 cm deep. On the lower left side, there is a side fence measuring about 0.8 cm wide by 0.5 cm deep.

The blade is 6 mm wide, and the cutting angle is about 49°.

It is stamped “COULAUX A & C.”
