Molding Plane – Double Bead Profile

The top edges are beveled, and the plane uses a wooden wedge. On the right side, the body widens by 1.5 cm after 3.4 cm, creating an open chip gap. The lower portion consists of a wooden strip (2 × 0.7 cm), interrupted by the chip opening, and fastened with four screws to function as a depth stop.

The left side is flat. In the sole, there are two inlays: one approximately 0.4 × 2.9 cm, and another 2.5 cm long, running along the full length, inserted into the gap.

The iron is 18 mm wide with a 6 mm shaft, and the cutting angle is approximately 55°.
