Cooper’s Plane – Single Grooving Type

Cuts on the left inside edge. The body is flat on top with beveled edges, rounded on the right side, and uses a wooden wedge. The bottom is flat with a conical recess for the wedge and iron, and includes a very small chip ejection opening.

The sole is curved lengthwise with a radius of about 20 cm. The groove underneath is approximately 0.8 cm wide and high. The side fence is 2.9 cm above the iron and 1.5 cm high.

The iron is 8 mm wide, set at an approximate cutting angle of 50°. The plane is in unused, good condition.
