Bullnose Plane – Cornice Model

Cast iron body. At the front: 10 mm chipbreaker, 31 mm vertical face with an 11 mm bevel, and a decorative cornice-style curve. Uses a wooden wedge; the back features an 8 mm overhanging oval rounding. The rear portion is recessed from the 8 mm sole up to the top. Rear wall: 5 mm thick, 28 mm tall (no striking button), beveled at 17°.

Wooden wedge insert measures 5 × 2.3 × 2 cm. The mouth is 3 mm wide.

Iron: 30 mm wide, 18 mm shaft, top bevel approx. 20° Cutting angle: 17° bed + 20° bevel ≈ 37° Markings: 3×3 leaf symbol, W. HARPLES & SONS, CAST STEEL
