Small Roughing Plane – Ship Plane in "Shallop" Form
Front cylindrical nose (Ø 1.7/2 cm), followed by a smooth curve over a decorated chip opening and wooden wedge. The rear is half-round (Ø 3 cm), rising up to 5 mm above the sole. The sides are slightly rounded along the length. The sole has a longitudinal radius of 10 cm and is cross-curved about 3 cm—resembling a violin maker’s plane.
The mouth (7 × 24 mm) is reinforced with a bronze plate, secured by two screws.
