Chariot Plane – Fine Smoothing Plane

Polished cast iron body with 3 mm thick walls. The front section is 11 mm thick. Chipbreaker is a bronze inlay (8/6 × 39 × 3 mm). Mouth measures 4 × 33 mm. Front and top edges are rounded.

The 19 mm tall rear wall acts as the iron bed. A wooden wedge sits beneath the bronze iron support, rounded on top and flat on the bottom (19 × 33 × 6 mm), pivot-riveted into the sidewalls.
