Chariot Plane – Cornice Plane, Bronze Cast Body
Bronze body, 4 mm wall thickness. Chipbreaker is a 7 mm thick bronze auxiliary angle piece (2/6 × 38/30 × 11 mm), secured with two steel screws. Mouth width is 1 mm. Without the angle piece, the front is open to 6 mm height. Above it is a 6 mm flat corniced section; the rear has a 6 mm projecting oval rounding.
Rear wall: 16 mm high, with an 8 mm steel screw (used as a striking button and to hold the wedge liner: 4 × 3 × 1.2 cm). Wedge support made of bronze (11/6 × 30 × 7 mm), flat at front and back, hollowed at rear. Secured by a 38 mm long, 4 mm steel screw, pivot-mounted.
