Bullnose Plane – Cornice Model, Cast Iron Body

Cast iron body. Front section includes an 8 mm chipbreaker and a 33 mm vertical face, beveled 8 mm before transitioning into a corniced curve. Uses a wooden wedge and features a 7 mm overhanging oval rounding at the rear. Rear section is recessed from the sole upward.

Sole thickness is 5 mm. Rear wall is 6 mm thick and 32 mm tall, fitted with a 9 mm strike screw which also holds the wooden wedge insert (6.8 × 2.1 × 2.6 cm). Mouth opening is 1 mm wide.

Iron: 28 mm wide (1⅛″), 17 mm shaft Bevel: approx. 20° Cutting angle: 20° bed + 20° bevel ≈ 40°

Inscription: "MALLEABLE".
