Cooper’s Plane (Jabloire)

Plane and fence connected by three wood screws, adjustable from 2 to 10 cm. Plane is right-handed (inside) with three wooden wedges. Top and bottom are flat with a chip opening. Sole is longitudinally curved with an 8 mm thick sheet metal reinforcement, 8 mm wide tapering to 12 mm high at the center.

Includes the iron and two bevelers. Two 2 cm diameter holes for outer wood screws. The fence plate has beveled edges all around, with three 1.9 cm threads for all wood screws.

Two adjustment screws, Ø 1.9 mm internally 1.4 mm, with 7.5 cm long turned handles, total length 24.5 cm. One clamping screw Ø 2.1 mm internally 1.7 mm with the same handle, total length 22 cm. Thread pitch 4.5 mm.

Iron: 7 mm wide, cutting angle approx. 60°. Two bevelers: 8 mm wide, cutting angle approx. 10°.

Condition: Preserved, one wedge damaged.
