Irons located in the rear third of the plane. No wooden wedge because it’s not needed.

Iron: 21 mm wide, shaft 9 mm, thickness 10 mm bottom, 8 mm top. Iron back is reduced at the rear to shaft width and guided in a wood groove. Bevel is 22 mm long on the bottom. Cutting angle approx. 25°.

Cap iron 21 mm wide with bevel on top, also serves as wedge. Shaft 8 mm, thickness 6 mm bottom, 14 mm top as wedge.

Both irons are inserted from below. First the cap is pushed all the way up, then the iron is fitted underneath and wedged into the hole with the cap. To set the iron gap to approx. 2 mm, the wood in front of the iron hole must be slightly pared away. Both irons can only be loosened by hammer blows at the plane end.
