Marking Gauge

Body measures 10.3 × 5.8 × 3/2.4 cm with two 1.4 cm holes and a 0.6 to 1.7 cm tapered 0.6 cm slot. Between are two round wooden rods, 23 cm long, 1.3 cm thick with nail points.

Between these are two wooden sticks 8.7 cm long, 0.3 to 0.4 cm thick, with end caps. These serve as the side fence for the 10 cm long, 5 cm thick, tapered central wooden wedge 1.1 to 1.7 cm.

The fence is reinforced with two 2 mm bronze plates screwed on.
