Mitre Plane

Fine plane with cast bronze U-shaped body, wall thickness approx. 4 mm. Rounded front and rear. Front finger peg Ø 2.9 cm, height 3.1 cm with screw.

Rear mouth 3 × 43 mm with rounded knob Ø 16 mm with thread and 20 mm long, 6 mm wide cap iron screw.

Behind are two square knobs approx. 9 × 14 mm, 20 and 33 mm high, beveled at the mouth slot as iron stops.

Cap iron made of bronze, 95 × 43 × 0–25 mm, with a bayonet hole Ø 11 mm, length 18 mm. Rear bottom loosely riveted 50 mm lever with rounded 18 mm clamping plate 3–5 mm over the slot.

Rear cap rounded as hand protection, mouth 3 × 43 mm.

Iron: 42 mm wide, 1⅝" with slot. Bevel approx. 30°. Cutting angle 23° = approx. 53°.
