Cooper’s Manhole Plane
Body made from a single piece. Left flat with rounded upper edges. Wedge-iron hole angled, and right side 3.2–4 cm wide on the upper breadth from 3.9 cm, recessed with wedged chip opening, open at top. Bottom parallel to sole radius, 2.2 cm wide rounded.
Sole radius: right 40 cm, left 35 cm. Chip opening right open, 0.1 × 4.7 cm, angled 13°. The 1.4 cm wide sole slot next to the iron is the depth stop for the outer edge of the sawn manhole.
Iron: 49 mm wide, beveled. Shaft 16 mm. Cutting angle: approx. 48°.
Condition: Very good.
