Cooper’s Plane (grooving plane)
Ship-grooving plane. Top lengthwise arched, edges chamfered, wooden wedge. Front and back rounded. Right side flat, wedge slot and iron exposed, shaving hole. Left side flat with glued-in 1.2 cm circular cut-out (10×3 cm), flush with depth stop, which is 1.2 cm wide and 1.5 cm deep. Radius = 47 cm.
Iron: 21 mm; cutting angle ∠ approx. 50°.
