Cooper’s Plane (rabbet plane)

Ship-rabbet plane, radius 60 cm. Top edges slightly rounded, with line decoration. Wooden wedge. Front and back edges chamfered. Both sides flat with continuous shaving slot. Lower rear part broken and crudely repaired with nails and two sheet-metal patches.

Iron: 22 mm; shaft 9 mm; cutting angle ∠ approx. 50°.

Conserved.

Condition: poor, patched.
