Rabbet Plane

Shaped like a wooden batten, 5.5 × 3.1 cm. Lower left edge slightly chamfered. Shaving slot angular, slanting front and back, and from top left down to bottom right. Side cheeks of shaving slot pressed against the iron, with an 8 mm narrower iron wedge serving as side support. Wedge bearing: 4 mm iron bolt, set 1.9 cm diagonally through the plane sides. Left side flat, right underside at open iron with slot 0.7 × 0.9 cm. Mouth 0.8 cm wide, slanted 20°, 4 cm long, 13.4–14.8 cm from the front. Mouth opening from iron to wood only about 1 mm.

Iron: 39 mm wide, 8 mm thick. Cutting angle: right 40°, left 35°. Iron tilted downward at 16° to the right. Length: right 95 mm, left 72 mm. Iron flush on the right side.
