Side walls of 2 mm steel, screwed together over slotted plates forming the sole. Blade holder and cap mounted on an eccentric spindle, rotatable, with a pivoting lever acting as the cap. Adjustment lever on the eccentric spindle for fine setting. Rear red plastic shell serves as hand grip and storage compartment for spare cutting edges.

Iron: 48 mm blade (10 mm thick), double-edged, held with two small pins. Cutting angle ∠ approx. 45°.
