Smoothing Plane (double iron)

Front vertical, carved down to the shaving slot. Wooden wedge with carved rosette Ø 4.2 cm. Side edges rounded; rear upper edge chamfered, with striking button Ø 18 mm below. Underside with cut marks around the perimeter. Sole flat; mouth 1.4 × 5.2 cm.

Iron: double iron 51 mm; cutting angle ∠ 45°.

Mark: shark symbol (text illegible).

Lever cap: marked “ERIK ANTON BERG ESKILSTUNA SWEDEN” with shark trade mark.
