Spokeshave (rounding plane)

Body sides trapezoidal in section. Wooden wedge and shaving slot above. Front end rounded, with a 4 cm long broad flat tenon. Rear end with a square tang 9 × 3.8 × 2.6 cm, curved downward. Sole formed by two round 2 mm irons, 50 mm wide in total, secured with four screws.

Iron: double iron 48 mm with long cylinder-head screw; cutting angle ∠ 47°.

Marks: PEUGEOT FRÈRES — lion on arrow; A. GARANTIE on both irons.
