Spokeshave Plane (finishing shave)

Body trapezoidal in side profile. Wooden wedge and shaving slot above. Front octagonal tenon 5 cm long, Ø 2.4 / 2 cm, slightly angled to the left. Rear octagonal tang approx. 3 cm in diameter, angled downwards to the right and pointed at the end. Both sides flat. Sole fitted with a 2 mm steel plate, rolled slightly upward at the front and raised slightly at the rear, secured with four screws.

Iron: double iron 36 mm, set 6° askew; cutting angle ∠ 45°.
