Bodymaker’s Rebate Plane

Side-curved rebate plane with radius approx. 12 cm. Wooden wedge above; rearward sweep forming a rounded grip, 3 cm in diameter with recess extending underneath to the sole, also at the front. Both sides flat, 3–4 cm high. Below, a step and longitudinal curvature across a width of 3.3 cm, with a continuous shaving slot.

Iron: 34 mm; shaft 7 mm; cutting angle ∠ 65°.
