Instrument Plane

Smoothing plane with iron body. Sole with welded frame, 3 mm wall thickness, rounded front and back, centre 25 mm flat and raised on both sides. Front and rear infilled with wood inserts serving as iron seats. Cap iron 39 × 23 × 0.6 mm, secured by a rounded handle rising upward with 5 mm thread and 5 mm screw, ribbed head Ø 10 mm, 16 mm long, held by 4 mm iron rivet and pivoting fastening. Flat on both sides; sole flat and projects 4 mm at the front. Shaving slot opens upward. Mouth 6.5 × 22.5 mm.
