Outer wall 2–5 mm thick in an elliptical shape. Two vertical 1 mm incisions at the rear. Rear height 25 mm, tapering forward 18 mm long down to 15 mm height forming the iron bed. Front rounding rising from 20 mm to 23 mm height with a 4.5 mm pin acting as the wedge abutment. Front height 12 mm. Sole flat, 47 × 22 mm. Mouth 3 × 17 mm. Iron wedge 27 mm long and 17 mm wide, adjustable 0–9 mm as a wedge, with a 14 mm high rib on top.

Iron: 17 mm, bevel down, straight, unbevelled profile.
Cutting angle: approx. 43° with 23° bevel.

Previously owned by a violin maker from western Switzerland.
