Router plane. Front upper section rounded to guide the shaving opening backward and upward along a gracefully curved line. Upper part rounded downward and concave above. Rear section curved and swept outward from a 0.1 cm high central ridge. Sole faced with 2 mm ivory plate fixed by four bolts. Wedge of finely carved ivory.

Iron: 7 mm wide, 70 mm long, shaft bent downward 15 mm, bevel uppermost.    Condition: Beautiful, unused.

Note: The ivory sole and wedge suggest this was a highly decorative or presentation-grade router plane rather than a working tool. The bent shaft and top bevel indicate a typical bottom-cutting configuration for fine recessing or inlay work.
