Coachmaker’s side rabbet plane. Cuts to the left. On the right is a rounded wooden block. On the left are three flat steel plates riveted together: the lowest 98×1×29 mm as a single piece; the middle 98×2×23 mm in two parts with a 61° dovetailed slot for the iron, both let into the wood. The third plate, also in two parts, is applied: front 28×2/4×17 mm, rear 3.8/4.7×2/4×17 mm, forming a 0.5 cm depth stop. The plane cuts only a 0.2 cm wide strip. A 3 mm screw acts as the iron clamp.
