Cast-iron body, broken on the left side and repaired long ago with a surrounding 1×25 mm steel band and two bronze rivets. Wooden wedge glued together with the iron and cap iron. The double iron is inserted the wrong way around. The cheek pieces are cast on the sides. At the back, a rounded wooden infill is fitted to match the plane.

Iron: 51 mm (2″)    Cutting angle: ∠ 47°

Marks: ACORN (encircled), MADE IN SHEFFIELD, VANADIUM STEEL. Cap iron in the USA style.

Repaired. Double iron incorrect.
