Draw Plane.
Carved from a single piece of wood. Front vertical, with chamfered upper edges and rounded sides. Shaving slot pulled forward to a point for 4.5 cm, with 4 cm of sole beneath, above that rounded with an edge. Side walls 1.1 cm thick. Two 4 mm nails driven through hold the small wooden wedge only 1.5 cm wide. Behind this is a dovetail groove 1.9/1.7 cm, 2 cm deep, with an ill-fitting but elegantly curved handle piece on the left, 1.4/1.8 cm wide, wedged in with wood. Rear rounded. Sole in front of the mouth 9 cm long. Mouth opening 2.6×4.7 cm.
