Recess Plane Right-hand wooden section 22 × 6 × 1.2 cm, joined to the plane body with two 80 mm flat-head screws Ø 8 mm, metric thread 60° DIN 13/14 1.25, with 13 mm hex nuts over spherical bronze washers. Inside is a slot for the wooden wedge stop, 25 × 5 mm, made of iron. On the left at the front is Depth Setter I, 90 × 17 mm. The iron slider is 100 × 24 mm, held in a bronze slotted plate 48 × 14 mm with two screws. An old bronze wing-nut with a lock-head screw sits in the depth-setting slot on the right to fix the cutting depth between 0–18 mm. No side-guide. Shaving slot on top.
