Profile Plane. German Moulding (“Deutscher Stab”).
Carved from a single block of wood. Upper edges chamfered, wooden wedge. Right side straight for 3.7 cm, below that a hollowed widening 2.8 cm wide, interrupted by the shaving slot. Left side flat, bottom edge chamfered. Two depth stops, 0.9 cm and 1 cm, arranged at a right angle of 90° to one another. In the sole, a reinforcement inlay along the edge, 24 × 0.5 × 2.2 cm.
