Pair of side rabbet planes. 98 planes to the left, 99 (left hand) planes to the right. Iron plate 9 mm thick, rounded on top, rounded on the back with a 4 mm offset and wooden knob handle Ø 1.6/3.1 cm, 3.4 cm high. Below tongue 12 mm thick with a 4 mm offset and chamfered at 5 mm. 30° bevel, 13 mm wide notch as iron stop. Vertical 13 mm wide notch for the iron cap with a 4 mm thread, cap 12x4/6x25/35 mm with 5 mm bore and flathead screw. Three recessed cast ribs, with No 98 (99). Flat bottom with cast rib and mark. Front mouth 4 mm, 13 mm recess with 20/13/5x26/38 mm shaving chamber. The shaving iron is inserted and is then 20 mm or just 5 mm long; when removed, the plane becomes a bullnose.

Plane No. 99 planes to the right, but is otherwise identical to Plane No. 98, mirror-inverted.

Wooden Box: 6 mm wood, 12.8x6.2x5.8 cm with sliding cover. Edges have dovetail joinery with 3 teeth.

Iron: 15 mm cutting width, 12.5 mm bevelled at 60°, inserted at a 30° angle = 90° (vertical), cutting angle ∠ 9°.
