Hollowing plane with side rods. Upper edges chamfered. Wooden wedge. Two openings at the top, each with wedge-slots angled outward. Blade “tongue” of steel, 183×47×2 mm, bound with a two-part bronze band. Fixed with five rivets and inlaid 0.3 cm into the wood.

The depth adjuster is a 108×20 mm steel unit with a bronze block acting as fixed nut, together with a steel screw featuring a retaining nut and a bronze oval head. A 50×15 mm bronze plate, held with two screws, is inlaid into the shaft between them.

Left side: depth stop adjustable from 0 to 2.3 cm. Right side: a wooden side-fence 18/21.3×6×1/4.5 cm. Rich English cove-and-bead moulding (“10-profile stack”) carried all the way to the front edge.

Two round wooden rods, each 23.5 cm long and 1.9×1.9 cm in section, with bronze end caps, run alongside the body. Each rod has a 3×1.8 cm decorative block at the outer end. Both rods are riveted to the fence-mounting bar. For locking, two wooden wedges (0.7 cm thick, 9 cm long) tighten the rods. Lateral adjustment range: 0.7 to 10 cm.
