Grooving Plane with Wooden Rods.
Body made from two 3 mm flat iron plates, 277×40 mm, welded at the top to the upper part of a 2 mm thick, two-piece iron fence plate. Slot for the blade and wedge fully open. Along the top edge on both sides are 16 mm square holes.

The fence plate measures 277×80×2 mm and is made in two parts. The wedge is made of 2 mm iron, 157×15/31 mm, with decorative roundings and notches on top and bottom.

Two square wooden rods, 1.6 cm thick and 44 cm long, serve as guides. In front of the handles are two 2 cm long, 0.4 cm wide wedge slots (the wedges are missing) for clamping the blade to the rods.

The side fence is a wooden board, 27.7×13×1 cm. On top of it a wooden strip, 27.7×2.4×3 cm, is glued. Two square holes accept the wooden rods; two longitudinal slots, 4×0.8 cm, hold wooden wedges (8×3/4×11 cm) to clamp the fence in place. Fence travel up to 27 cm is possible, with slot depth up to 8 cm.

Condition: One rod is slightly bent.
