Measuring bar 37 cm long and 4.4 cm wide, rounded at the front in a double profile, with a 7 mm bronze wear-strip along the entire length of the flat top. At the rear the bar tilts slightly forward; 12-inch horn strip, 2.1 cm wide and 0.2 cm thick with 1/8" graduations.
At the rear end a 4 mm thick bronze T-plate, 44 and 137 mm long, 75 and 24 mm wide respectively, with a 33×17 mm slot for the glide roller (Ø 36 mm, 16 mm wide) which is mounted underneath at the rear.
The knife iron, fixed to the measuring bar with a bronze clamp plate (77×8×3 mm), fits into a 6×9 mm hole in the bronze T-plate. The handle, 14 cm long, 11.8 cm high, and 2.7 cm wide, is permanently attached to the measuring bar.
The fence is 15.7 cm long, 7.9 cm high and 3.2 cm wide; a bronze 16×16 mm right-angle bracket is screwed into its base. On top sits an iron adjustment screw decorated with a fine bronze ornament.
