Planing on the right. Upper edges rounded. Flat on the right. Left side 3.2 cm deep and cut out to 0.8 cm. Boxwood reinforcement on the bottom, 2 by 1.5 cm, dovetailed. Scoring cutter with ebony wedge. Chip hole on the left. Wooden-iron wedge 2.8x1.1 cm at a 12° angle. Chip hole on the left. Depth stop on the right, fixed at 0.8 cm. Left side with depth adjuster, 0 to 1 cm, bronze T with bronze screw and inset plate 4x1.3 cm with two screws. Likewise, the side fence with rich molding in the English style pulled around the edge. Two screws hold two bars, 23 cm long. The four ends are protected with bronze caps. Two wooden wedges in the slots keep the bars from falling out. Cutting width 3.2 cm. Depth 0.8 cm. Side distance 0.8–10 cm.

Scoring cutter: 8x4 mm, shaft 4 mm, cutting angle 70°

Inscription: “Hields. Nottingham.”
