Window Plane for Mullions with Putty Groove. Consists of two planes joined together with two 70 mm long, 7 mm flat-head iron screws fitted with No. 3 wing nuts, thread WW 55° 20G 1/4", mounted on washers. Upper edges rounded and line-decorated, fitted with two wooden wedges.

The left plane is flat on the outside over 7.7 cm with a shaving slot and a 0.6 cm high side fence beneath. Inside surface is flat, with the wedge-and-iron slot open. The right plane has a glued-on wooden strip on the upper outside face (1.1 × 2.8 cm), with the shaving slot beneath.

The two planes can be shifted relative to each other by up to 2 cm using wooden spacer blocks. A depth stop is located centrally between the soles of the two planes.
