Right-hand cutting plane. Rounded edges. Right side flat. Left side relieved on top by 3 cm to a depth of 0.8 cm, with a boxwood reinforcement underneath, dovetail-glued from 2 to 2.5 cm. Fitted with a scoring cutter held by a wooden wedge; mouth on the left. Wooden wedge. Depth stop fixed on the right at 1 cm, adjustable on the left up to 1 cm, with a bronze insert and a screw mounted on an inset plate 40×13 mm with two screws. Also on the left is a side fence with rich base decoration in the English style, extending forward up to the edge. Two screws with inset bronze washers clamp two square guide rods 23.5 cm long, their four ends protected with bronze caps. Two wooden wedges in slots serve for clamping. Adjustable fence width from 0 to 10 cm. Cutting width 3 cm, cutting depth up to 1 cm.

Iron: 30 mm, skewed; shank 9 mm — cutting angle ≈ 50°
Scoring cutter: 10×4 mm; shank 5 mm — cutting angle ≈ 75°
