Cheese plane. Two side boards, 1.5 cm thick, 5.5 to 6.5 cm high. Below at the back, 18.5 cm long, 2 cm high, at the front, 4.5 cm long, 3 cm high, recessed. On top at the back, between the side boards, a board 1.5 cm thick and 13 cm wide is screwed in, 11 cm long on the left and 20.5 cm long on the right. The sloped side is sharply beveled over a length of 3.5 cm at the bottom. In front of that, the blade, approximately 190 mm long and 30 mm wide, is clamped at a 27° angle under two half-round strips, 46 cm long and 1.8 cm wide, on the side boards. In front of the blade, a wooden plate 1.5 cm thick, 13 cm wide, and 19 & 28 cm long is mounted movably. Two 18x25 mm, 2 mm thick metal plates with 5 mm studs screwed on both sides engage in 40 mm long, 6 mm wide slots of the four 60 mm long, 17 mm wide slot irons, which are recessed at a 45° angle inside the side walls. At the front bottom, there is a wooden floor, 1.6 cm thick, 7.4 cm long, and 18 cm wide, rounded at the back by 4.5 cm. On this is mounted a metal base with thread using 4 screws. All together is screwed down with the side boards. A 113 mm long screw, with special lead screw thread, flange width 1.2 mm, groove 2 mm diameter inside 7.3 mm, thread pitch 2.8 mm, with two 1 mm sheet metal wings, 26x18 mm in front and three 18 mm washers (the rear one riveted) at the back. Under the movable support board, a 3 mm metal angle, 45 mm long, 19 mm wide, is screwed on. The downward projecting angle part, 50 mm long with an 8 mm wide, 30 mm long slot lies between the second and third washers. Turning clockwise raises the support plate; cutting thicknesses from almost 0 to 2.5 cm are possible. Under the lowering plate, crosswise, there is a 2.6 cm long piece of round wood, 2.4x1.6 cm with a 0.5 cm dovetail groove in which it is inserted. This small piece of wood is beveled on the side at the bottom and can be pulled out. Purpose unknown.
