Grooving plane with wooden rods and special clamping wood. Cuts on the right. Upper edges rounded, wooden wedge, and bronze plate 50x15 mm with two screws as holders for the depth adjustment screw, diameter 7 mm, bronze head 28x7x30 mm. Right side is a 5.5 cm wooden box part with a double rounding at the bottom. Two concealed 2.1x0.8 cm slots cover the rod screw in the plane body. A peg, diameter 1.5 cm, with unknown purpose. Below it, a two-part iron plate 182x48 mm with five screws attached to a bronze band 182x2x17 mm on the plane body.

On the left, with a distance of 10.7 cm, two 15.8 cm long wooden rods are embedded in the plane. Cross-sectionally, they are half-round, vertically rectangular on the side, and triangular at the bottom. Width 1.9 cm, height 2.3 cm. Below is the depth adjuster, 113x5x21/12 mm, with a screw-on lug 23x10x44 mm, which has a vertical 7 mm threaded bore. The entire depth adjuster is countersunk over the sole and allows an adjustment range of 0 to 2.9 cm for cutting depth.

Side fence, 21.4x3.4/6.2x4.6/7.7/10.6 cm, very intricately crafted from a solid piece of wood. It runs 2.8 cm below the plane to the irons, with a cutout of 11.6x1.9x2.2 cm for the lowered depth adjuster. The outer side of the fence is richly decorated in the English style, including around the front edge, with carved borders. In the center outside, a bronze piece with a 7 mm threaded insert, base plate 25x15 mm, with a 13 mm tube mounted on top.

Two brackets, each 5 cm long and 3.4 cm wide, with triangular cutouts at a distance of 10.7 cm, allow the sliding rods to fit in. Between them is a half-round recess of 5.6 cm, with a 30 mm bronze bar above as a guide for the wooden clamping plate. This plate is made from boxwood, 13.2 cm long, 3.3 cm wide, 1.8 cm high, with rounded rod holes spaced 10.7 cm apart. At the top, it has cornice-like roundings on the sides. Two 6 mm boreholes for the bronze rods, and a 7 mm bore in the center of a bronze bushing, diameter 16 mm.

The entire setup is clamped with a 60 mm long, 6 mm screw with the same bronze head as the depth adjustment screw. The side fence is adjustable from 0 to 12 cm.
