Window plane for bars with putty groove. Two planes with wooden screws and two dowel pins, diameter 1.1 cm, laterally adjustable. Upper edges rounded on the outside, with a lined decoration, each with a wooden wedge.

Right plane: Inside, two 2.1 cm threaded holes for the approximately 11 cm long wooden screws, outer diameter 2.1 cm, inner diameter 1.6 cm, thread pitch 5.7 mm. Two 1.1 cm holes for the 3.5 cm long dowel pins. Also, there is a 0.5 cm wide recess as a depth stop in the wood center. Shaving hole on the right.

Left plane: Inside, wedge-iron slot. Each with two holes, 2.1 cm and 1.1 cm, diameter 2.0 cm, with deep counterbores for the screws. Two wooden nuts, 4.5 cm long, diameter 3.3–4.6 cm. The inner locking nuts are missing. The carpenter seems to have avoided this flaw by using the left iron without lateral guidance, causing it to fall out. Design flaw. By inserting two 26 cm long wooden rods of equal width above and below the wooden screws, the plane can still be used, but with 3 cm added width.

See previously described slightly simpler plane.

1. Iron: 22 mm, shaft 11 mm, cutting angle approximately 45°

2. Iron: 21 mm, shaft 11 mm, cutting angle approximately 45°

Both irons are beveled on the inside with angled fitting.

Marking: 2x WEISS & SOHN

Condition: Good, design flaw.

Conserved.
