Rebate Plane – Precision Shoulder Model

Bronze body milled from solid (possibly cast), with 2 mm thick walls. Front face is 8 mm vertical. The top has a 6.8 cm long, 0.8 cm wide wood inlay shaped to fit the curved plane top. A 12 mm long cross bridge serves as the wedge support.

Rear iron support is 30 mm tall, with a 4 mm wide mouth cut directly into the body. The sole is reinforced with a 1 mm thick split steel insert.

The wedge is made from 11.5 cm long, 0.8 cm wide ebony, rounded at the top.
