Shoulder Plane – Solid Bronze Body

Crafted from solid bronze (possibly cast). At the front is a 4 mm rib and a wood insert (1 cm wide, 2.2 cm and 8 cm long). Above the wooden wedge is a 6 mm bronze cap.

The iron bed is beveled, with a 6 mm tall rear wall and sole. The top features three rounded areas; both the wedge and inlay project slightly and are rounded. Mouth opening is 2 mm wide.
