Decorative Groove Plane

Cuts to the right. Made from one 2.5 cm wide section on the left, and a 1.6 cm wide section on the right, the right side constructed in two pieces before and after the iron slot, glued and screwed onto a 1 mm thick steel plate (232 × 30 mm) projecting 1–2 mm below the sole. This plate can act as a side fence or as a double-line guide. The spacing between the paired lines can be adjusted by shifting the iron sideways by a few millimeters. Shaving slot on the right.
