Small Instrument Smoothing Plane

Bronze body made from U-profile, 2 mm wall thickness. Flat sides. Front with 18 mm rounding, rear also rounded. Front bronze insert 15 × 11 × 4/8 mm; rear insert 27/35 × 11 × 10/4 mm acting as the iron bed, both flat on top. Lever cap 24 × 11 × 0–6 mm, rounded above, tapering to a point, with 5 mm thread. Screw 16 mm long with domed slotted head. Lever cap mounted via a through-rivet. Sole flat. Shaving slot exits upward. Mouth 4.5 × 12 mm.
